Playing a strong supporting role to the latest generation of Predator, the COPA 20+ gets a fresh paint job as part of the ‘Mutator Pack’, adopting the traditional Pred colours of black, red and white for what is adidas’s first on-pitch look of 2020.
The eagerly anticipated next-generation Predator will undoubtedly grab most of the headlines surrounding the launch of the ‘Mutator Pack’, but it features a strong supporting cast. Not least among these is the COPA 20+, which takes on some tasty Predator vibes with an “Active red/White/Core Black” colourway for what is a contrasting quadruple, with the Nemeziz 19+ and X 19+ taking on blue hues.

The COPA 20+ sees a similar graphic implementation of the colouring as the Predator – a visceral incarnation of the Mutator name – with red dominating the upper before fading into the black of the collar. White is then reserved for the Three Stripes, as always with the 19+ positioned on the medial side. The soleplate then sees the same red-to-black blend that dominates the upper of the Predator Mutator spread across its length. It completes a dominating look that places the COPA firmly in the Predator’s corner for the ‘Mutator Pack’.

The 20+ will be joined in the 'Mutator Pack' look by the laced 20.1 model, which swaps the Three Stripes to a more traditional lateral side placing, and both will be seen on the feet of the pros going forward, including Paulo Dybala and Joao Felix.
