Red Star F.C. Launch 2019/20 Home & Away Shirts

Once again playing free of the confines of tradition, the rebellious and creative culture of Red Star F.C. comes to the fore, as the Parisian club releases its home and away shirts for the 2019/20 season. Drawing influence from the madness of Stade Bauer, the culturally rich club once again show that despite their deep heritage and history, they are looking ever-ahead.

With a legacy firmly created within football, but that now crosses confidently into lifestyle and fashion, underground romantic football club Red Star once again embrace the challenge inherent in football. Their’s is not a utopia club where the money flows freely and the stars line up shoulder to shoulder on the pitch as they do elsewhere in Paris. This is a club for the people, and as such the new designs for the 2019/20 home and away shirts draw inspiration from Stade Bauer – the place where the people show their support for the club.

A sublimated graphic runs through the centre of the home shirt, combining the core green colouring with black for a blurred motion effect. The shirt template boasts a raglan cut, allowing the sleeves to adopt a solid black look that joins nicely with the Three Stripe branding that runs down the sides. ‘VICE’ takes up its usual position in the sponsors slot in contrasting white as does the adidas logo, while the classic Red Star FC crest sits on the left of the chest.

For the away shirt, the same sublimated blurred graphic features, combining different shades of pink throughout the whole shirt, lending it a deeper, textured effect. The away shirt has a classic cut, which sees the sleeves in the same colour and design as the body, unlike the home shirt. The Three Stripes again run down the sides in black, contrasting nicely with the base pink, as does the ‘VICE’ sponsor, adidas branding, and special blacked out club crest. The Google Street View launch is a typically unique touch from the club too.
