AC Milan and adidas End Partnership

AC Milan and adidas have confirmed that they've mutually agreed to terminate their sponsorship agreement, and the club having already signed with a new partner who will take over on July 1st 2018.

Earlier this month there was speculation that the club had agreed a deal with PUMA, but although the club have confirmed that their contract with adidas will terminate earlier than previously agreed, they've yet to confirm the identity of the new brand.

The current partnership between AC Milan and the Three Stripes began on July 1, 1998, meaning that this season will be their 20th and final year together. Two Champions Leagues, two European Super Cups, three Serie A titles and four more domestic trophies ain't a bad trophy haul in two decades.

The club have confirmed that the identity of the new technical sponsor and details surrounding that deal will be revealed in the coming months. If the rumours around PUMA lurking in the red half of the city are to be believed, then AC Milan will join the Italian National Team, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund as the brand's leading clubs.
