Nike Launch The 'Luminous Pack'

Arriving with a vibrant, summer-fuelled refresh, Nike launch the ‘Luminous Pack’, taking the name literally and splashing the Air Zoom Mercurial Vapor XV, Superfly IX, Phantom GX and Tiempo Legend IX in bright new colour ways.

Taking the joy of summer as inspiration to fuel an athlete’s creativity, Nike give us the ‘Luminous Pack’, and there’s certainly not going to be any danger of missing them out on the pitch. Bright and bold is the order of the day here, as the Air Zoom Mercurial Vapor XV, Superfly IX, Phantom GX and Tiempo Legend IX all get suited up in summery suits of colour to close out the 22/23 season and head into the warmer heights of the off-season.

For the Air Zoom Mercurial, in both Vapor XV and Superfly IX options, we get a “Pink Blast/Volt/Gridiron” colourway, with the pink as the base, playing host to the volt accents that flash across the upper, most notably through the Swoosh, but also on the soleplate.

The Phantom GX comes back in to line following the solo 'Link' and 'Blaze' releases. For this pack it takes on a "Barely Volt/Gridiron/Barely Grape" colourway, with the white acting as the base, overlapped by the volt colouring on the groundbreaking Gripknit technology, the two colours acting in contrast to highlight the two knit innovations at the heart of the boot: the already mentioned Gripknit in the forefoot and the Flyknit that dominates the rear and lower portion, providing the comfort and fit. The grape colour then flashes in the branding for another contrast.

As always, the Phantom GX is available in both the regular low cut version as well as the higher Dynamic Fit, the latter of which also boasts the Ghost Lace system.

Finally, completing the pack is the Tiempo Legend IX, in what will be one of its last outings. Nike has already revealed that its longest-lasting silo is set for some big changes, after the announcement that the brand would stop using K-leather in boot construction – a key component of the Tiempo line. Here though, it arrives in an all-over volt look, with black accents and a different shade of green on the Swoosh. If it is the last outing for the Tiempo, it's going out in bold and brash fashion.
