Mizuno Drop 'Pre Future' Rebula Cup Japan

Arriving fashionably late to complete the ‘Pre Future’ pack, Mizuno drop the Rebula Cup Japan in a suitably fresh “White/Diva Pink” colourway.

Last month Mizuno paired the Morelia Neo III β and Morelia II together for what was the first instalment of the ‘Pre Future’ pack, and now the Japanese brand follow that up with a second drop in the form of the Rebula Cup. It comes dressed in a corresponding white colourway to the other two boots, and also to the Morelia DNA, which dropped in a similar colourway back in December – although despite its look that wasn’t technically part of the ‘Pre Future Pack’.

As with the other boots, the Rebula Cup sees a white base colour which spreads across the entire upper, save for the runbird logo. It comes in a “Diva Pink” colour, which also features on the soleplate. From a tech perspective, the Rebula Cup features a newly engineered K-Leather upper, which is softer than ever for the ultimate comfort, while a high-grip (FT GRIP technology) synthetic leather midfoot guarantees perfect control of the ball (N.B. the skill aspect is down to the wearer!). The outsole boasts integrated stabiliser studs to boost agility.

Now, the difference – according to Mizuno – between good and great is attention to detail. That statement forms the basis of everything they do. We’re talking, of course, about the ‘Made in Japan’ callout, meaning every boot to carry that signature of class is expertly made by hand, by skilled artisans who scrutinise every detail at every stage. This is pure quality craftsmanship.
