PUMA Announce Partnership With Palmeiras

Carrying their big moves in the game from 2018 into the new year, PUMA have today announced that they will become the official kit provider to Brazil Serie A football club Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras.

Palmerias boast a huge following with approximately 16 million supporters globally, and this deal sees the current Brazilian champions switch to PUMA from rivals adidas. The official long-term partnership started on January 1st and will last for the next three years. The interesting part of the deal is that Palmeiras will be the only club sponsored by PUMA in Brazil during the period; two giants of the footballing world coming together to focus on an exclusive project.

The partnership was announced with the “Green Is The Colour Of Envy” campaign video, which put the achievements of “The Green Giant” front and centre. The announcement sees both the home and kits launched in one swoop as part of a wider replica collection. The green shirt is the home design, while the white jersey will be worn away from home in the new season.
