When adidas link up with Willy Chavarria, you already know it’s gonna be big. It’s culture, identity, and football heritage colliding head on. At Paris Fashion Week, the duo delivered exactly that, as they pulled out their FW26 collection showing off a Mexico-inspired soul and terrace-ready silhouettes on one of fashion’s biggest stages.

The FW26 show was soaked in Chavarria’s signature energy. If you know, you know. Bold, defiant, emotional. A clear nod to his Mexican roots ran through the collection, from the powerful colour choices of red and green, to the unapologetically strong silhouettes. This wasn’t subtle storytelling. It was loud.

At the heart of it all sat adidas’ most iconic silos, all reworked through the Chavarria lens. Think classic sportswear foundations, so your track jackets, oversized jerseys, baggy track bottoms, and then blown up with dramatic proportions and street attitude. The three stripes were still recognisable, but everything else felt elevated and deeply personal.

And, of course, we had to zone in on the football references that landed heavy in this show. Ex real Madrid legend Marcelo hit the runway, bringing all that Brazilian swagger, whilst Romeo Beckham also stepped out, continuing his own journey at the intersection of football fashion and culture. It was a casting move that reinforced what this collaboration stands for. Authentic ties to the game.

But the real show-stealer, though, came in the form of two Willy Chavarria x adidas Predator football boots. Yeah, you heard that right. The most attitude driven boot in history has got the Chavarria treatment in two striking colourways. One arrives in an aggressive red and black combo that screamed dominance, and the other was finished in an almost iridescent look, catching the light with every step. This is exactly how you blur the lines between the pitch and the runway. And we NEED these.

Seeing the Pred get its time in a Paris Fashion Week show felt symbolic. A reminder that football boots aren’t just a tool of the game. They’re cult icons. And in Chavarria’s hands, they became statement of heritage, power, and rebellion. This was a moment.
