Continuing their joint message of LOVE, hummel once again joins forces with designer Willy Chavarria for an AW19 collection that’s been created with the goal of utilising sport as a vehicle to connect the world offline through the #5683 Connection project.

Earlier this year, hummel and Willy Chavarria came together for their first collaboration, which aimed to connect immigrants and refugees all over the world through sports. And the second instalment of hummel x Willy Chavarria gets even more ambitious as it targets everyone, seeking to breakdown the barriers of an increasingly digital world with the aim of combatting an increasingly omnipresent loneliness. Both Willy Chavarria and hummel support soccer, and indeed all sport, as a global unifier of people, and this message has been carried through in the new collection once more.

Emblazoned with 5683 throughout, which translates to the word L-O-V-E on the US digital keypad, the hummel x Willy Chavarria AW19 collection blends warm and cold neutral shades with pops of bright neon yellow, embracing an ultra-futuristic aesthetic. Taking on a refined approach to signature hummel aesthetics, the AW19 offering features an array of jackets, printed hoodies, T-shirts, pants and shorts, all adorned with classic hummel chevrons and each rich in the brand’s authentic team sport DNA.
