Messi Commissions 35 Gold iPhone 14's For Argentina Squad

To celebrate their momentous World Cup win, Lionel Messi has gifted 35 gold plated iPhone 14’s Pro Max‘s to all the Argentina players and staff. Messi commissioned premium personalisation company iDesignGold to create the set, with each one carrying the player’s name and number alongside the Argentina crest and the word’s “World Cup Champions 2022”.

What do you get for someone who basically has everything, including a World Cup winner’s medal? Well, if you’re Leo Messi, you go to the creators of the world’s finest personalised smartphone devices, iDesignGold, and you order 35 customised gold plated iPhone 14’s. And that’s what he did, buying one each for every member of the 2022 World Cup-winning Argentina squad and staff. At least, we hope it was everyone. You’d be gutted if you were the one he forgot…

iDesignGold started life in 2016 with its first superstar client, Conor McGregor. From there the custom creators have never looked back, going on to produce work for a whole host of famous names in sport and entertainment, including Richard Mille, Anthony Joshua and Paris Hilton. Messi is a repeat customer, and he is joined by some of football’s elite, with players such as Neymar, Theo Hernandez, Hakim Ziyech, Harvey Elliott, Darwin Nunez, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Patrick van Aanholt all having used the service to pick up some premium accessories.

To celebrate the 2022 World Cup win, Messi ordered 35 personalised gold plated iPhone 14 Pro Max’s, which were hand delivered to the PSG striker in special boxes, ahead of them likely being dished out to all the players and staff members. Not a bad way to celebrate your win.

Back in 2019 Paul Pogba pulled a similar move, producing championship rings for each member of the 2018 World Cup winning French squad.
