Umbro has teamed up with Danish fashion powerhouse Stine Goya for a capsule collection that doesn’t just blur the lines between sport and style — it obliterates them.
Umbro x Stine Goya isn’t here to whisper its presence. It’s loud, proud, and unapologetically bold, spinning up classic football silhouettes through the kaleidoscope lens of Copenhagen’s most vibrant design mind. And it lands with a message: “Good things shouldn’t take time.”
This isn’t your average kit. It’s not trying to be. Inspired by the energy orbiting women’s football and the cultural mashup of British and Scandinavian street style, the collab fuses the heritage of Umbro’s football DNA with Goya’s signature colour-drunk aesthetic. Think party-ready pastels, retro-futurist fits, and enough attitude to carry you from pitch to pavement, from game day to afters.
Fronting the campaign is Nagin Ravand — a Danish-Afghan football coach, changemaker and fierce advocate for equity in the game. Her presence isn’t just symbolic; it’s essential. This collab is more than fashion. It’s a call to action. A visual protest. A celebration of movement, identity and visibility — on and off the pitch.
The capsule features seven pieces: a punchy tee, long-sleeve top, skirt, minidress, windbreaker, trousers, and socks — each piece playing with nostalgic ‘90s and Y2K vibes, but with a twist. Expect fabric clashes, unexpected textures, and custom patches that reframe what a football kit can be. Function meets femininity in a collection that challenges every assumption about sport uniforms and who gets to wear them.
So here it is: the future of football wear, dressed in Goya gold and Umbro grit. Fast-forwarding the conversation. Demanding change. And reminding us all: good things shouldn’t take time — especially when they look this good.
The collection will be available at select retailers and online from the 28 of May 2025.
