Two streetwear brands with strong terrace DNA come together for a collaborative clothing collection as Lyle & Scott and Diadora join forces to present a nostalgic depiction of the walk home from school, shot by Gavin Watson.

Diadora have a long standing presence on the football pitch, and if you go into any pub or terrace pre or post match you'll spot the famous Lyle & Scott logo as an ever-present amongst football fans. Catching us off guard with an intriguing collaborative capsule, the two brands deliver a collection which is strong with throwback feels and raw urban vibes.


The new link-up which features dual-brand statement pieces throughout takes on a 'Walk Home From School' theme celebrating the timeless journey that all generations can relate to. The opportunity for young minds to begin solidifying their beliefs and forging their own personal style and the feeling that the ‘Young Live Forever’. From rival schools, romances and fights; these are the defining moments in youth that plunge you into the world. No teacher can tell you what to do, and no parents are around to protect you.

Few other journeys can match the feeling of freedom and excitement that the escape from the classroom brings, except those walking to and from the stadiums of your favourite teams. Drawing upon both Lyle & Scott and Diadora’s roots in football culture and their shared terrace heritage, this collaboration draws parallels between these two iconic journeys.

This style and attitude are captured by photographer Gavin Watson in his distinct documentarian aesthetic, as the models follow the age-old tradition of “unpicking” your uniform or football kit, to create a new-found individualism and confidence, proudly mixing in their favourite brands to further push their identity and tribe.


The Lyle & Scott x Diadora collection fuses together the brands’ sporting and terrace casual looks, with each contributing their respective expertise to the apparel.
