adidas Release 4DFWD 2 In 'Al Rihla' Colours

The marketing and hype continue to build ahead of this Winter’s World Cup, and adidas build on their colourful ‘Al Rihla’ theme, releasing the 4DFWD 2 trainer in the colourful spectrum of both the preceding match ball and boot pack.

The 2022 World Cup is only a few weeks away and excitement for the tournament continues to build, fuelled by a growing marketing push and the release of products tied directly to the impending competition. With its national team kits, the ’Al Rihla’ official match ball and the ‘Al Rihla’ boot pack, adidas have already had several key launches in relation to Qatar 2022, and now they bolster that lineup with smaller nods that are still linked to their marquee drops. Next up we get the 4DFWD 2 trainer, which comes suitably dressed out in the bright and bold colours of the ‘Al Rihla’ theme.

Arriving in “Cloud White,” the PRIMEKNIT+ and engineered mesh upper – which his constructed from at least 50 percent recycled content – features a spectrum of colours drawn directly from the Al Rihla match ball. Profile Three Stripes branding opts for a simple but contrasting block “Core Black” look that stands out on the innovative and partly-recycled upper design. Vibrant flair also animates the spine and Continental Rubber outsole underfoot, the latter component bringing improved durability to the 3D-printed cushioning right above it.
