Underground Football Club | Paris 2015

Underground football club - a celebration of football culture smashed through onto the small sided court in a warehouse location of raw beauty. The 2015 event came, went and was utterly conquered.

An abandoned warehouse the perfect location for a football tournament that pulled in an under current of sheer football appreciation. Art, music, style and the all encompassing and united game of football came together and with over 1500 people turning out to support the movement, it's one giant success for the game as well as adidas.

With music spinning from DJs from the first whistle to the curtain call, the spirit of football culture was rich and vocal in equal measure. A sound of football from the underground that brought together a mixture of teams, branded in support from adidas - the kits looking brilliantly diverse from retro to contemporary innovation. The teams themselves, a mixture of fine folk from creative industries, this was a breeding ground for ideas and collaboration as much as a celebration of the worlds greatest language - football. An investment into a pure side of the game, credit must go to the organisers as well as adidas. A genuine spilling over of cultures bustling like a net those quiet seconds between a goal scored and a crowd cheering, no doubt this will inspire many.

With the ethos of collaboration ever strong in making strides into new areas of creativity, we teamed up with Chad Gibson of Local FC, on hand to capture the moment. You can find out more about the Underground Football Club here. Seriously rock and roll football.
