Arsenal Drop 'NPC Worker Jacket' Inspired by Fan That Went Viral

The ‘flat cap’ Arsenal fan, who went viral last season for his celebrations during games, has teamed up with Arsenal to release a worker jacket inspired by the man himself. We see the jacket arrive in a light orange, the original colour worn by the fan, aswell as navy and white colourways.

The ‘Coat Guy’, as he’s now known as, was dragged into the spotlight after a camera panned around to the fan celebrating an Arsenal goal during a game last season. The video quickly went viral over social media, due to his unique choice of outfit and celebrations, leading to comments joking about this ‘NPC-like’ fan, and the ‘Coat Guy’ became a fan favourite instantly.

Arsenal have embraced this fan into the club, even featuring him in the official third shirt release video, alongside club legend Patrick Veira and actor Will Poulter, last year. Now Arsenal and the ‘Coat Guy’ team up once more for a new addition to Gunners lifestyle merchandise, with the NPC Worker Jacket.

A design inspired by the original jacket worn by their most talked about supporter, it arrives in three colourways: orange, navy and white. Fashioned in a regular fit with both chest and front pockets, this jacket brings a touch of iconic Arsenal attitude to everyday life. As a finishing touch, the renowned cannon of the club’s crest is seen embroidered on the chest pocket.
