California streetwear label 424 has previewed an upcoming collection with Nike that leans into the brand’s founder, Guillermo Andrade’s long standing relationship with the game. Presented for the first time at Paris Fashion Week 2025, the collection features fashion-forward pieces for the Brazilian and U.S. national teams, as well as Inter Milan.
Making waves at Paris Fashion Week 2025, 424 has unveiled its AW25 collection in a game-changing collaboration with Nike. Over the last five-plus years, 424’s association with football has almost solely come through a Three Stripe lens, so the switch up to the Swoosh is an interesting one. However, it’s not founder Guillermo Andrade’s first flirtation with Nike, with the designer having created a bespoke Mercurial Superfly 360 at the Nike By You Football Workshop in Los Angeles back in 2018. Here, the fashion label has reimagined some of football’s most iconic aesthetics, seamlessly blending pitch-ready classics with high-fashion flair.
The AW25 collection pays homage to legendary kits, including Brazil’s 1998 World Cup jersey, Inter Milan, and the U.S. national team. Highlights include distressed screen-printed T-shirts and oversized jumpers, with Balotelli’s iconic No. 45 adorning Inter-inspired designs. A standout leather jacket channels Brazil’s R9 era, its details – from the CBF badge to the electric blue numbers – painted on for a raw, grungy aesthetic. The general approach here is not necessarily new, conjuring images of the distressed David Beckham x Real Madrid biker jacket that the brand created back in early 2024, but we're all for it.
424’s collaboration with Nike is also set to see a bold reinterpretation of U.S. Soccer’s crest, replacing “USA” with a reversed 424, adding a rebellious twist. Meanwhile, nods to Germany and Nike’s Total 90 range appear in stripped-back tees, reinforcing the fusion of streetwear and sport. Already looking forward to seeing what the full collection has in store.
