D.C. United unveil new crest

Marking the 20th year as the MLS' 'most decorated team' D.C. United have wasted no time in looking forward to the next chapter in their history by unveiling the clubs new crest.

Proudly evolving their original crest that was released in 1997, this is a tasteful refresher that has been refined for success on and off the pitch. From typography to the wings of the eagle, the whole brand has been polished and brought up to speed. It has sharp tones of of sophistication without shirking away from its roots.

Their black and red colours sitting proudly on a Washington inspired crest, it's a badge the supporters can most definitely be proud of as the club looks to move into a fresh era. 20 years in the bag, the days of the MLS having a limited history are well and truly behind us as football in the US moves into forvever intriguing and cultured places.
