Adidas and Yohji Yamamoto have pulled off a certified ‘if you know, you know’ move, bringing back the iconic Y-3 F50 Tunit Beast pack in two different versions – one for the pitch and one for the streets.
Adidas and Y-3 have only gone and done it. They’ve brought back that boot. Yeah, you know the one. The F50 Tunit Beast pack. The one that didn’t just drop in 2006, but fully spun football on its head.
Now, 20 years after its original release, that boot is back in rotation. And just in time for the 2026 World Cup. Not dusted off. Not reissued. But properly reworked.
Real ones know this first popped up in Paris at Y-3’s FW26 show, pretty casually may we add. But this one was for the streets – a lifestyle version of the iconic boot. Same energy, just moving a little different. This version is still rocking the mythical lineup we once saw as well. The Dragon, Tiger, Eagle, and Wolf all return, but they’ve taken to the pavement with these. They’ve taken that OG F50 and flipped it into something you can wear anywhere, anytime. An everyday flex you could say.
And then there’s the on-pitch pair. The Wolf is stunning running things here. Sam graphic hit, same lace cover as the OG, but underneath it’s all been upgraded (as you’d expect). Lighter, sharper, faster. Even more ferocious. Adidas’ latest tech levels up this legendary design, with Yohji Yamamoto’s signature stamped on the look to sign it off. Of course.
And with some of the most influential players in the world, like Hugo Ekitike and Kenan Yildiz, set to lace these up, you know this is going to be one ‘ell of a comeback. Ready to take on the game’s biggest stage this summer. Oh yeah, we are ready.
