adidas Launch The X 18+ "Cold Mode"

The faster players out there will know the importance of retaining sensation in your toes for sprinting in the colder months, and adidas have the solution with the X 18+ “Cold Mode”.

Featuring PrimaLoft technology to not only keep your feet warm, but dry also, the latest X 18+ arrives for the winter months looking the part with a colour combination of “Raw Green/Night Cargo/Clear Mint”. The speckled effect heel is interrupted by a spike of green that runs down from the forefoot on a soleplate that remains untouched.

The only real change here is the PrimaLoft insulation, and it's quite a significant one. The PrimaLoft tech comes with the approval of the US army, who initially requested a water-resistant material that provided enhanced warmth without the bulk, for efficient insulation with better breathability.

You’d be forgiven for thinking that all of this in a football boot would significantly alter its look and performance, but it doesn’t, and the X 18+ still looks as sleek as ever. Along with the assurance you'll be able to feel your toes this winter, and this innovation breakthrough has to be a winner.
