Nike Drop HyperVenom World Cup Colourway

Nike freshen up HyperVenom for Brazil

On the eve of unveiling the tenth generation Mercurial Nike have dished up a starter to the main course by revealing their new HyperVenom colourway to be worn by at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil this summer.

The red/neon/black paint job will be worn by the likes of Wayne Rooney, Neymar and Higuain in Brazil this summer and forms a quarter of Nike's World Cup pack, which also includes a Tiempo Legend V update, all new Mercurial and the Magista.

The World Cup HyperVenom has a slightly different feel to the previous colourways. An almost pop art design is created by the bold black lines that sit around the outside of the Swoosh. Under the bonnet it's as you were, the engine remains the same but the visuals pack an alternative punch as they're unleashed in Brazil.

When it comes to the World Cup it's very much a case of go big or go home - brands want to be noticed. Dark boots are undoubtedly cool but don't get your hopes up of seeing many in Brazil, it's going to be big, bold and ballsy. When the whole world is watching, you want to put on a show.
