Top 20 Football Kits from the 2024/25 Season

The 2024/25 clock is rapidly running down, cup finals are approaching and title deciding games are immanent. It’s only right that we round off this season with a roundup of the best kits we have seen out there on the pitch. From classic home kits to celebratory anniversary shirts and disruptive special edition’s, here is our top 20…

20 - Paris Saint German / Jordan 'Wings' Fourth Kit

Making it into our top 20 is the PSG fourth kit, unveiled only a few months ago. The PSG x Jordan link up always go hard and this kit is only one example of this. Simple and stunning colourway and the wing-like graphic on the sleeves just adds that je ne sais quoi. A solid start to our list.

19 - Leeds United / adidas Away Kit

Adidas pulled out all the stops for Leeds this season, betting on them having a successful season (which they did). The Whites gained promotion in style, donning a retro-inspired away kit all season. The kit brought back the vintage club crest, along with a beautiful fold-over collar, fashioned in that famous yellow and blue.

18 - Boreale FC / Ezeta Third Kit

Probably a club you have never heard of, fifth tier Italian side Boreale FC come in at number 18 with a completely unique third shirt. Ezeta cooked up a storm with this one, too many details to talk about. A fully gold and black design brings a sense of luxury and class, paired with delicate floral patterns ingrained into the shirt. Finished off perfectly with a central logo and club crest. You don't see many like this.

17 - Augsburg FC / Mizuno Third Kit

Mizuno designed an absolute beauty for Augsburg this season, brining a sense of identity to the club's third shirt with some incredible intricate patterns. An overwhelming sense of class emitting off of this shirt. The reds, the golds – a perfect pairing. Looked too clean on-pitch as well.

16 - Juventus / adidas Third Kit

The re-birth of the Trefoil. When adidas revealed the third shirts for their top 5 European teams at the beginning of the season i think every football fan felt joy. All were stunning, but this takes the win for me. Every detail is designed with perfection, from the collar to the minimalistic club crest. Again with golden accents that can never miss on a football shirt. Adidas know what they did with this one.

15 - FC Barcelona / Nike Away Kit

UCL semi finalists are dressed exactly how they play – sleek. The blackout away kit with touches of colour brings Gotham City to Barcelona with a Dark Knight look out on the pitch. You can never go wrong with a central club crest and the Spotify logo just works with this kit.

14 - Greenland / hummel Home Kit

Our first national team of the list is Greenland. Hummel kits are criminally underrated and this is just an example of how good their kits are. At a closer look, subtle detailing can be seen all across the shirt – inspired by the spirit, culture and strength of the Greenlandic people. The design incorporates avittat patterns, often seen on traditional kamiks and national costumes. Now, although Greeland are't exactly known for their footballing history, they are sure to look good whilst playing.

13 - FC Copenhagen / adidas Third Kit

Inspired by the city of Copenhagen's creativity and passion, adidas designed a captive third shirt which is a beauty whether it is on the pitch or in the streets. A simple silhouette and colourway upgraded with fine detailing and shimmering gold touches. Not much too say other than we like it. A lot.

12 - Athens Kallithea / Kappa Home Kit

Would be rude not to include this kit. As far as home shirts go, this has got to be one of the best this season. A shimmering pinstripe design printed onto a clean navy base, complimented by brighter blues amongst the collar and logos. This shirt cannot be ignored. Pair it with jeans, layer it with a jacket or cardigan, or just wear it on the pitch – it all looks unreal.

11 - Sweden Women / 2025 Away Kit

Technically this isn't a 24/25 kit, however it has been revealed and debuted so we are counting it. The colours and shading on this design go crazy, thriving off of simplicity and style. Another one with central logo and badge, another hit. This kit is going to be one to look out for on the pitch during the women's Euro 2025 in Switzerland in the summer.

10 - FC Basel / Macron Home Kit

Just making it into our top 10 is the FC Basel home kit. Macron did something with this one, a risky design that could've easily gone wrong, but they have nailed it. It is quite rare to see kit provider's change it up for a home kit, but Macron show no fear and reap the rewards. The flame graphics bring the heat to the Swiss Super League.

9 - Oakland Roots SC / CHARLY Third Kit

Perhaps a less-known brand and club, CHARLY and USL side Oakland Roots linked up for 24/25 with some stunning kits – the third kit being the headliner. Celebrating Dia De Muertos, the two designed a jersey which sees a unique skeletal graphic on the front and a roots graphic on the rear, both symbolising the deep connection the club has to the local community. I think it is safe to say we have't seen a design like this in the game, and this is the kind of distinctive aesthetics we want to see more of from a third kit. Top ratings.

8 - Olympique de Marseilles / PUMA 125 Year Anniversary Kit

Celebrating their anniversary in style, Olympique de Marseilles and PUMA launched a special edition kit which arrived in a white-out design. The only splash of colour amongst the design comes from a vintage club crest seen first during the early 80's. This kit evokes Marseille's earlier years and looks flawless on pitch. Would hate to see the grass stains post-match...

7 - BSC Young Boys / Nike Third Kit

A serious contender for top five just misses out, however this kit cannot be knocked. Unlike anything we have seen Nike do this year, this third kit embodies energy and vibrancy with ocean-like blues complimented by golden accents. The Nike Swoosh also sees some visual updates on this shirt, appearing to be more bold and layered than usual. Cannot fault this design.

6 - Bayern Munich / adidas 125 Year Anniversary Kit

This is how you do an anniversary kit. This is everything you could want it to be. Premium, stylish, cultured. It was only right for the esteemed Trefoil to make an appearance, elevating the look, along with a bespoke club crest which pays tribute to the momentous anniversary milestone. Ingrained into the material is more intricate detailing of previous club crests from Bayern's earlier years – a subtle nod to their rich history. It has the story and the aesthetics, what more could you want.

5 -  Crystal Palace / Macron Home Kit

Yes, Crystal Palace do make it into the top 5. Put some respect on this kit, Macron could not of done better if they tried. A club who have had some mediocre kits during their time in the Premier League came in hot into this season with this incredible design. Macron have elevated the usual red and blue of the club and turned it into a work of art. Would love to see the Eagles soar to victory in the FA Cup final in this kit.

4 - SSC Napoli / EA7 Partenope Fourth Kit

A very recent drop, this fourth kit inspired by the Partenope myth is mesmerising. Embodying the movements of the ocean, the kit merges different shades of blue to make up a stunning design. Nothing crazy or dramatic, just beautiful to look at and a no-brainer for football shirt collectors.

3 - ACF Fiorentina / Kappa Fourth Kit x LouisaViaRoma

A recent drop blending football heritage with high fashion, Fiorentina collaborated with LuisaViaRoma for a fourth kit unlike any other in the game. Crafted to look and feel premium, the kit brings to life the 'Eternal Lily'. Kappa kits rarely miss but this collaboration puts them into a whole new conversation. There's something so right about seeing a football fashion icon like Moise Kean in this kit.

2 - Mexico / adidas Mexico De Oro Kit

Beauty in elegance. Designed to celebrate Mexico's rich cinema heritage, adidas bring a golden look onto the scene. Worthy of a standing ovation, this kit dresses the Mexican national team in black and gold that could light up any screen. Garms fit for a king.

1 - FC Versailles / Kappa Third Kit

Coming in at top place on our list is the Kappa FC Versailles third kit. It is everything and more. Stunning colours, stunning silhouette and stunning detailing. This kit gives the beauty of the Palace of Versailles a run for it's money. Kappa have provided all hits no misses this season for Versailles, all three kits worthy of a top 20 finish. With FC Versailles coming at number one, there is nothing left to do other than to go buy this shirt...
