In a fitting tribute to both legacy and ambition, Brøndby IF Women have unveiled a bold new chapter in their story — and it's stitched into a sleek new unisex polo designed in collaboration with fashion house Modström.
Already serving as the club’s Official Fashion Partner, Modström and Brøndby IF Women now deepen their alliance with a creative design piece that straddles both pitch and pavement. The '1971' jersey is the first fashion-forward release since the club made headlines earlier this year by becoming Denmark’s first full-time professional women’s team — a landmark moment that places Brøndby IF Women once again at the front of the pack.
“It tells the story of where we come from,” says Caroline Maria Lundblad, Brand & Partnership Manager at Brøndby IF Women. “But equally it’s a symbol of our commercial focus, to continue to lift and develop the sport at Brøndby IF.”
That story is woven into every detail. Front and centre, the year “1971” marks both the club’s founding and the eve of official recognition for women’s football in Denmark. It’s a proud nod to the past, celebrating Brøndby’s central role in shaping the women’s game for over five decades. Alongside it, a campaign-specific crest — created exclusively for this drop — further cements the shirt’s collector appeal.
Blending heritage and modernity, the design carries the same ethos that has defined Brøndby IF Women’s rise: purpose-driven, unapologetic, and united.
