Ready for when the club play away from home, adidas unveil the new Real Madrid 22/23 away shirt, which features a colourway that builds off the trim of the new home shirt.
Real Madrid’s new home shirt was unveiled back in May, and it saw a welcome return for purple trim on the traditional white base, a colour that last appeared back in 2016/17. Now the new away shirt has dropped, and following suit with the home, it arrives in purple, which last appeared in… you guessed it, the 2016/17 season. It’s a regular colour for Los Blancos, particularly prominent on the Kelme-produced kits of the mid 90s.

This time it’s a lighter shade of purple as the base colour, and that’s joined by a sublimated repeating peak graphic that dominates the body. The design is finished off with black trim, which features in the collar and cuffs and then in the branding and sponsor.
