Kappa & Botofogo Launch 21/22 Away Shirt

Turning the style levels up to 11, Campeonato Brasileiro Série B side Botafogo have unveiled their new away kit for the 21/22 season from Kappa, and it’s inspired by one of the most glorious moments in the club’s history, when the club won the Série A title in the 1995 season.

Gearing up for another push at promotion, Botafogo have launched their new 21/22 away kit from Kappa, and they’ve shown it off in style, releasing a lookbook that shows the black kit in lifestyle settings. The design sees what at first appears to be a completely black base placing extra emphasis on the lone star of the club’s crest, here presented in striking white.

Look a little closer at that black base and you’ll find a sublimated pattern shining through. That’s joined by white trim on the cuffs and that throwback polo-style collar. The name of the club is printed on the back of the neck in white for a nice finishing detail

"Since the beginning of our partnership, it's undeniable the reach and good receptivity that the products had with the fans,” explained André Giglio, Director of Kappa in Brazil. “We are very grateful to be part of this process and feel closely the joy of the fans. The shirt makes mention of the [1995 season], as well as the collar, and I believe that the fans of Fogão will immediately notice this reference.
