Nike Boca Juniors 2014/15 Home and Away

Nike unveil the 2014/15 home and away kits for Argentinian side Boca Juniors, inspired by the Ports of La Boca.

Nike and Boca Juniors have unveiled the club's new home and away kits, featuring distinctive seafaring elements inspired by the ports that surround the team's home neighborhood of La Boca. The new kits will be worn on pitch at the first home match at the Bombonera as part of the First Division Championship 2014.

The deep blue home jersey has a bold golden stripe that runs across the chest with a round neck collar featuring two buttons, each with an engraved anchor and C.A.B.J. the club's acronym. On the inside of the jersey at the base of the neck, a pennant tab features an anchor flanked by the club's founding year, 1905. The anchor commemorates the Swedish ships that arrived at La Boca's ports at the beginning of the century, which inspired the blue and golden yellow colours of the home kits.

The white away jersey also features a golden stripe, bordered by deep blue piping, which runs across the chest. The rounded collar is deep blue and accented by golden yellow. The same pennant design with the year and anchor is on the inside of the jersey at the base of the neck. The home and away shorts are deep blue with subtle golden yellow details, and the socks for both uniforms are deep blue with diamond-shaped details in golden yellow on the back.

The new 2014/15 Boca Juniors home and away kits will be available from Aug 1 at selected Nike stockists. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
