Warrior Reveal Liverpool 2014/15 Home Shirt

Warrior unveil new kit for title contenders

Warrior have revealed the new Liverpool home shirt for the 2014/15 season. Holding a live event in the city, Warrior were joined by Jordan Henderson, Simon Mignolet, Philippe Countinho and Kolo Toure to reveal the new Liverpool FC 2014/15 Home Kit to 1,000 lucky fans and the world via a live broadcast on LFC TV.

The new Warrior home shirt features subtle white details on the collar and arms to create a simplistic and classy design. Whether or not the new kit will be worn by Premier League champions remains to be seen, the Anfield club are currently sat on top of the Premier League table ahead of their crunch match with Manchester City on Sunday.

Taking inspiration from the glory years under the leadership of Bill Shankly the 2014/15 home kit stays true to the heart of LFC’s iconic identity whilst incorporating dynamic design and contemporary style. The famous, bold, block red is framed by mirrored white piping to give the kit a streamlined, flowing motion and the striking appearance is further enhanced by a geometric LFC jacquard weave, another unique feature for 2014/15.

In line with the 2013/14 version, two embroidered Eternal Flames alongside a 96 logo are located on the nape of the shirt’s neck to commemorate the events at Hillsborough in 1989.

“The 1960s was such a defining era for this club. Sir Roger Hunt, Ian St John, Ron Yeats …the list of Liverpool FC legends that played under Shankly goes on and on. For the players to wear a shirt that has taken inspiration from such a successful period for the club, can act as a reminder that they can bring those glory years back to Liverpool Football Club.” said Brendan Rodgers.
