adidas Tango League Takes NYC

Moving into the final stages of the Tango League, adidas took to New York to host the finale of the American leg of the tournament. Six teams in the mix going toe-to-toe for street bragging rights, it's a tower high take of the street game with swag stripes all over.

A football party with big prizes on offer, those who go the distance in the Tango League are looking at an adidas contract and an open door to the backstage of the global game. Not just straight up street cred, this is about crafting and creating a strong game of good.

With a New York back drop towering in, it was the exposed brick of the indoor court that hit hard on this finale feast of football. The six teams that had made it to this end scene were Dustbowl FC, Buena Vista, The Juniors, Tango Gods, Astoria's Finest and Escarlatas. Having gone the distance round after round, it was Escarlatas who took the title and one of their own, Alexis Santas was singled out as MVP for the tournament.
