Nike Academy Cup 2015

The Nike Academy hosted Manchester United, Hertha Berlin and Monaco for the 2015 Nike Academy Cup as the young hopefuls were presented with a chance to test themselves against some of the world's best club academies.

The four-way competition held at St George's Park, home of the England National Teams as well as the Nike Academy themselves, saw each club play two fixtures in a league system with the team top of the table bagging the 2015 Nike Academy Cup. Germany's Hertha Berlin were crowned champions playing out a thrilling 3-3 draw with Man United before seeing off the Nike Academy 3-0 on their own patch. There's something beautifully German about the tracksuit top/blue jeans combo isn't there?

The Nike Academy did however win the third place play-off seeing off French outfit AS Monaco 4-2, who in turn beame the latest professional set-up to be overturned by the hungry group of non-contracted Nike Acadmey players who recently conquered Barcelona at the Mini Estadi.
