Nike Dress The Air Force 1 In 'Naija' Stylings

Continuing its premium treatment for the Super Eagles, Nike have unveiled a new look for the Air Force 1 React, wrapping it in those unmistakeable ‘Naija’ stylings of forest green, neon green and black.

Nike have been teasing further drops from the extended Nigeria 2020/21 collection recently, with a focus on sneakers seeing both the Air Max 95 and Air Presto getting new ‘Naija’ paint jobs. And now the Air Force 1 React becomes the latest sneaker to get the treatment. For those unaware, the Air Force 1 React is an updated take on the classic Air Force 1 Low and here it’s given one of its most eye-catching designs to date.

The combination of “Pine Green” and “Green Strike” play out across an upper that features on the gloriously busy upper. The barrage of patterns includes a triangles on the mudguard, top eyelet and heel, a wavy look on the eyestays, heel collar and tongue tag and lined square graphics on the lateral and medial heel counters.

That now familiar dropped Swoosh outline features down both the lateral and medial sides of the sneaker, while the tongue tags and medial heels alike feature the word ‘Naija’. Internally, the cushy green React insole presents the Nigerian National Football Team crest as a nice sign off.
