Umbro & Tacchettee Team Up For 'Collab Archivio90' Collection

Joining forces for a blast of Italy-infused retro flavour from the 90s, Umbro and Tacchettee drop the ‘Collab Archivio90’ collection, which sees iconic shirt designs from Inter Milan, Napoli and Lazio recreated as track jackets.

We all know that the Nineties boasted a bright and bold barrage of shapes that are enjoying a renaissance today. The Nineties was also an era when Italian football was arguably at its height, with the likes of Italia ’90 and Channel 4’s iconic Gazzetta Football Italia dominating memories of the time. Now, playing off all that nostalgia, Umbro have collaborated with Tacchettee to create a capsule that recreates the unique and unmistakable style from the pitches of Serie A circa 1990 onwards.

Tacchettee is an independent Italian brand that celebrates the many nuances between pop culture and the most beautiful game in the world. Raiding Umbro’s archive for what is a unique and unmistakeable style, the ‘Collab Archivio90’ collection brings back shirt designs from some of the strongest Serie A teams in Inter Milan, Napoli and Lazio, reimagining them as beautiful big and baggy track jackets that were so synonymous with the time.

So the ‘Collab Archivio90’ collection consists of three track jackets, sweatshirts, pants and t-shirts with the characteristic taping, all featuring the unmistakeable geometric shapes and colours of the 90s. Impossible not to recognise them.
