Framed #38 | England v Spain

A game of two halves, that's what they say. With camera lenses poised for a game that raised eyebrows all evening, England took the show to Wembley and danced a strong waltz under the lights. Let's forget about those two late goals.

A full house in the capital for a headline match up. Add to that England's 2-0 advantage they took into the break and a mannequin challenge celebration led by Jamie Vardy and it was looking like a good way to spend a cold Tuesday night. In football however, a 2-0 advantage is always a shaky way to sit on a game.

England gave a strong account of themselves against a Spanish side that packed plenty of heavy hitters. It wasn't until those closing minutes when Southgate's lions dropped off a little sleepy with Aspas and Isco offering a 90th minute reminder that it's all about playing to that final whistle.

Some description

Will Southgate stay? Will he go? And just how on form is Adam Lallana? Three questions, no answer needed. Just ponder on them as we head back into the domestic season.

Plenty of scenes, a whole lot of sights and talent all round. Bring on the next.
