Creative Soccer Culture

Framed #11 | Jamaica v Mexico

If there's one thing to take away from the Copa America it's that Jamaica won it before a ball was even been kicked. Why? Quite simply, those socks. One more stylised look at the Copa America proceedings from pitch side, it's Christian Gideon who is behind the lens of this one.

Kitted on and off the pitch, this was a match up with emphatic character. Fans as vocal as they are costumed in colour, this was a fine celebrations of two cultures coming together. Held at the Rose Bowl, there's plenty of football romanticism on show too. Grazing the turf, it was Mexico who left victorious with solid 2-0 scoreline, but that didn't stop Jamaica giving a proud account of themselves.

Some description

Grabbing those blinkered moments and the energy as it unfolded, this series of images from Christian Gideon once more gets us close to the beating heart of the action. The dark sky complimented with the shining spotlights and the dazzling kits, it makes for a blissful backdrop in which to snap a football match.
