Wave after wave. As adidas give a period of exclusivity to the Nemeziz 17+ 360 Agility, the ACE 17+ Purecontrol will have to wait to join the ‘Ocean Storm’ party next week. Mesut Ozil slipped into the new design as Arsenal returned to home soil to prepare for the 2017 Emirates Cup.
Mirroring the nautical theme found on the Nemeziz 17+ 360 Agility, the ACE 17+ Purecontrol is dressed in splashes of blue to arrive as the first official on-pitch design of the 2017/18 season. Meaning that Ozil and the rest of his Purecontrol pals will be wearing the colourway when the first Premier League ball is kicked in anger on August 12.
Dark at the front flows into light at the back as adidas equip their original laceless maverick with a simplistic but aesthetically pleasing combination. The ACE 17+ Purecontrol will be joined by corresponding X 17+ Purespeed and COPA 17.1 designs to complete the full ‘Ocean Storm’ pack. A strong start to the 2017/18 season for adidas, and take us down to shore cos we’re ready to get wet.
