A Look at All 12 Signature Nike Mercurial Kylian Mbappé Boots

Seven years, 12 signature Mercurial Superflys. It’s quite the legacy, but then Kylian Mbappé is quite the player. Two-time World Cup Golden Boot winner, one-time World Cup winner, and he’s the highest scoring player in World Cup history. And that’s just his international stats! Yep, if ever there was a player that was deserving of the odd signature edition boot or 12, it’s our man Kylian.

Since 2019, when Mbappé received his first signature Mercurial, Nike have taken him through four generations of the Superfly, each one serving as a canvas to tell different chapters of his story. From the Bondy-inspired origins of his debut release to bold graphic makeovers, World Cup specials and designs that pay tribute to his heritage, every boot has offered a unique glimpse into the journey of a player who has already achieved more than most can dream of.

What makes the collection so compelling is that it charts the rise of Mbappé in real time. As his game evolved, so too did the boots beneath his feet, with Nike using each release to celebrate a milestone, a memory or a piece of the personality behind the player. So, with another signature chapter now written, we thought it was the perfect time to look back at all 12 Nike Mercurial Superfly signature boots worn by Kylian Mbappé to date.

Mercurial Superfly 7 'Bondy Dreams' (Dec 2019)

The first. And where better to start than where it all began? And so it is the Parisian suburb in which he grew up that serves as inspiration for his first signature edition.

Mbappe 2 (2)

Mercurial Superfly 7 'Rosa' (Aug 2020)

Inspired by the aesthetics of the 2008 Mercurial Vapor Rosa, which Mbappé admired on the feet of Franck Ribéry, this signature edition featured a big, bold white lightning bolt Swoosh, bordered in silver. Easy way to get attention.

Mbappe 3 (2)

Mercurial Superfly 7 'Chosen 2' (Jan 2021)

Nike honoured two giants of their arenas with the ‘Chosen 2’ pack, providing LeBron James with a special signature LeBron 18 sneaker, and Kylian Mbappé with an equally special Mercurial Superfly VII, both complete with combined branding from both stars.

Mbappe 4 (2)

Mercurial Superfly 8 'Flames' (Oct 2021)

The inspiration behind the 'Flames' Mercurial Superfly colourway didn't take a great deal of explaining: here was one of the hottest young players of the current generation, and one thing that symbolises his raw talent? Yep, fire. See? Doesn’t take a genius. Also didn't hurt that Mbappé is rapid...

Mbappe 5 (2)

Air Zoom Mercurial Superfly 9 'KM' (Sep 2022)

The Air Zoom Mercurial got the signature edition treatment for the first time, and who else would be the lucky recipient but Mbappé. A unique beetroot base colour was elevated by golden accents, notably the Swoosh, which featured a sneaky kink that formed the 'M' of its namesake.

Air Zoom Mercurial Superfly 9 '2022 World Cup' (Dec 2022)

Arriving in time for the knockout stages of the 2022 World Cup, Nike equiped Mbappé with this new signature look. The design picked up where the ‘Generation Pack’ left off, introducing some Tricolore details in the heel.

Air Zoom Mercurial Superfly 9 (Aug 2023)

Inspired by his blistering speed and also his love of comic books, this design pushed the Air Zoom Mercurial Superfly into comic-book territory, with oversized Air Zoom lettering, illustrated graphics and a finish that made the boot feel like it had been pulled from the page.

Mbappe 8 (2)

Air Zoom Mercurial Superfly 10 'Cheat Code' (Sep 2024)

Coincidentally launching as he scored his first La Liga goal following his switch to Real Madrid, the boots featured a “Light Laser Orange/Armory Navy” colourway along with a disruptive digital print applied around the Air logo and on the heel to create a pulsing digital mirage.

Air Zoom Mercurial Superfly 10 'Mbappé' (Apr 2025)

This one was a bit special, not so much in terms of occasion, but more in execution. The design served up a greatest hits of Mbappé’s signature line to date, featuring bespoke bits from all of the past editions.

Air Zoom Mercurial Superfly 10 (Oct 2025)

About a year before this one, Mbappé had a different orange Mercurial Superfly 10 signature edition boot. So a bit weird to have another 12 months later. But this one has a blue tinge to it, giving it a fresh appeal.

Mbappe 11 (1)

Air Zoom Mercurial Superfly 10 'Air Max' (Feb 2026)

Take a bit of street ready Air Max styling and add it to the Mercurial and this is what you get. Officially titled “Plum Eclipse/Metallic Silver”, the first impression of the new colourway was that it was an unusual choice. A muted brownish-taupe base sets the foundation – call it either understated or unusual and you’re not wrong. But the more you look, the more it works.

Mbappe 12 (1)

Mercurial Superfly 11 'Golden' (Aug 2026)

And so we come to present day. When you're the Golden Boot winner at back-to-back World Cups and the all-time leading goalscorer in tournament history, a standard player edition just isn't going to cut it. So it's only right that Nike has celebrated Kylian Mbappé’s incredible legacy with a brand new signature Mercurial Superfly 11. Gold, of course.
