Adidas are running with the nostalgia and bringing back another OG colour way of the F50 Tunit. This time, an electric yellow paint job takes the spotlight on one of the most iconic silos of the 00’s. No chance you’re missing this one on pitch.
The F50 Tunit train is well and truly chugging away for the 20-year anniversary journey, bringing with it a whole raft of nostalgia from the 00s. We’ve already seen the Messi special drop, creative experiments from the likes of Slam Jam, and Y‑3 resurrecting their iconic Beast Mode set for a modern audience. Now, another hit from the archive arrives in the form of the “Lucid Lemon / Team Royal Blue / Lucid Aquamarine” colourway.
For anyone who may have somehow missed it the first time around (too young, perhaps?), the F50.6 Tunit is a cult classic. Worn at the 2006 World Cup, it holds a revered place in boot‑collecting culture. The Tunit system was adidas at its most ambitious – an attempt to reinvent performance footwear through true customisation. Players could swap removable studs, chassis, and uppers depending on pitch conditions and personal preference. Launched in 2006, it was a bold vision of modular football boots, even if the concept was eventually consigned to history.
Fast‑forward to today, and the adidas F50.6 Tunit 2026 Remake stays faithful to its roots. The reboot revives both the original silhouette and one of its six launch colourways, led by a vibrant electric yellow base that still feels as striking now as it did two decades ago. A bold yellow tongue sharpens the streamlined profile, while contrasting blue accents add bite and balance. The iconic F50 logo features in blue on the lateral side, echoed by a similarly finished adidas mark on the heel—small details that reinforce the boot’s heritage. Underfoot, the soleplate continues the story, combining a yellow foundation with energised blue detailing for a cohesive look from top to bottom.
From 8 April onwards, the boot will return to the pitch on the feet of a stacked roster of elite talent, including Nuno Mendes, Luis Díaz, João Pedro, Moise Kean, Federico Dimarco, Brahim Díaz, Victor Osimhen, and Rayan Cherki.
