Our Top 20 Boots Of 2025

2025 came swinging, with big drops, wild collabs, and boots that owned both the pitch and the timeline. We are here to round up the 20 that truly caught our eye.

Every year delivers its own wave of heat, but 2025 has hit different. Louder drops, bolder risks, and some collabs that have genuinely left us shook. From era-defining colourways to innovative tech that completely changed the game, this year’s boot drops gave us plenty to obsess over. So, as always, we’ve pulled together the top 20 that truly stood out. The head-turners, the innovators, the unexpected crossovers, and the releases that had everyone checking the drop date twice. Here are the boots that dominated 2025.

20 - New Balance x Stone Island Furon

Starting out strong with a collab that no one saw coming but everyone needed. New Balance x Stone Island. Saka x Santan Dave. A generational link up. NB's innovation tech on the Furon meets Stone Island's wicked streetwear style, and you can't lie, this boot looks tough. No noise. No nonsense. Just a beige upper that catches the eye in its own way.

19 - adidas Predator 25 FT Teamgeist

The Predator 25 has blessed us with a lot of fantastic colourways this year, so it was hard to narrow it down. That being said, this one had to make the cut. The Teamgeist era was iconic. So adidas revived the feeling, bringing back the loved style and aesthetics back and onto the current generation of Predator. The fact that they rereleased the 2006 World Cup ball alongside this makes it even better. A yes from us.

18 - Under Armour 'Pitch Viper' Shadow Elite 3.0

Under Armour make it into our top 20 this year with this venomous boot. There's something about a pink boot that just hits hard, mix that with a snake-skin pattern and you've got a piece you don't see too often. Even if it's not your vibe, you've got to admit this has to be one of the most striking designs of the year. And we love when brands try something a little different.

17 - adidas F50 Sparkfusion

This one is for her. Literally. Adidas are really at the top of the game when it comes to women's football and they proved it this year with the launch of the female-specific F50 Sparkfusion. The aesthetics are pretty neat, but what lies under that is what's important. This boot is purely made for a women's foot. Different technology, different fit, different soleplate. This is innovation at its highest form for the women's game, and something we havent seen at this level. I can say from experience, these boots really are a better fit for the female foot, so adidas get 10 points from me.

16 - Nike Mercurial Vapor I RGN 'CR7'

Another nostalgia-filled drop but this time from the Swoosh. This one hit different. Cristiano Ronaldo and Nike's relationship has blossomed into a beautiful partnership throughout the years, and Nike paid tribute to that by bringing back the original Mercurial Vapor that the Portuguese star made his professional debut in back in 2002. A day that will forever live in the history books. And you know how it goes from there...

15 - adidas Predator Mania 'Gunmetal' MIG rerelease

A classic. We've been waiting for 20 years to see this Gunmetal colourway back, and finally we got it. The final chapter in the Predator Mania Made In Germany series, and they finished with a bang. We will keep taking these nostalgia hits all day please.

14 - Nike Tiempo Legend Lux

This boot is pure luxury. It is exactly what the Tiempo is and should be about. Touch, control, elegance. And that rich burgundy colourway is just beautiful. But the elegance didn't stop at aesthetics, because Nike went and put their most stylish ballers in these boots, with Leah Williamson and Jamal Musiala lacing up these for a few special matches.

13 - PUMA King 20 Launch Edition

PUMA really got things right here. The aesthetics of this boot are just gorgeous. It gives off that understated sophistication that the King has always carried. And this next generation is taking a huge step from the last, wioth stronger visuals and innovation tech that we've never seen on the King before. The King might have just regained its crown.

12 - adidas Copa 11Pure

A diamond of the 2010's. As soon as i look at these boots i get instant memories of Toni Kroos. The Madrid Maestro. It's such a simple design that somehow just catches the eye. Had to be in the top 20.

11 - Nike Tiempo Maestro

This one is a game changer. Nike really brought the fun back to the Tiempo. A full renovation on this silo and it has revealed a work of art. Don't get us started on that TechLeather upper aswell... soft as butter. And that launch colourway? A beauty.

10 - Mizuno Alpha III

A fresh drop from Mizuno to finish out the year, and they finish it strong. A brand new generation of Alpha and it is somehow even better than the last. Mizuno are not one to be slept on, and the Alpha is taking the interests of many elite players including Mason Mount. He knows ball.

9 - adidas Predator Moments

This simply had to be in the top 10. An instant classic with the colourway, Predator was made to be black, white, and red. But the detailing takes this to the next level. Adidas paid tribute to two cult icons – Zidane and Beckham. Two players who defined the Predator silo.

8 - Nike Tiempo 'Touch of Gold'

This drop had us playing 'Mas Que Nada' on repeat for days. Nike fully reviving Joga Bonito with one rerelease and we are completely on board. The original R10 Tiempo brought so much joy to the game, and how could it not on the feet of one of the most exciting players to ever play the beautiful game. Bringing it back was reviving the feeling. It was a reminder football is fun and so is the Tiempo.

7 - Nike Mercurial Vapor Air Max 95

The streets needed this one. The Air Max 95 is an icon on it's own, but Nike and their innovation had to take it onto the pitch. And it goes crazy. First we had the classic volt green and grey colourway, then we had blackout, but the all-white is where out attention is focused. This is nothing short of beautiful. Yes, it's got those street ready visuals, but it could also easily be placed in a museum.

6 - PUMA x Kidsuper Ultra 5

This one may be a matter of opinion, but our breaths were taken away. KidSuper was exactly what the game needed, and what he has done at PUMA won't be forgotten. He's brought a new level of creativity and expression to the brand, and it is a breath of fresh air. And this Club World Cup collaboration hit all the marks. We need a pair of these.

5 - Nike Phantom 6 'Black Mamba'

A late-comer to the year but already making it into our top 5. Nike take inspiration from the icon Kobe Bryant and bring his globally recognised 'Mamba Mentality' straight to the beautiful game. Not only is this a crazy collab, blending football and basketball, but the visuals are also off the charts. The classic snake-skin pattern we would expect to see from a Kobe collab arrives, but it's even better than we could've imagined. The black and white, the fang laces, the patterned soleplate... all 10/10. What a way to end the year.

4 - Mizuno Morelia Ultra Light Made in Japan

How can you not love this boot. All-white can never miss in my opinion. Then mix it with that luxury Mizuno craftsmanship and tradition and you have a work of art. And yeah, it looks good, but it's so much more than that. One of the lightest boots on the market, and still made from that premium leather that Mizuno stay true to. If you're into leather boots, then this is the one for you.

3 - adidas Predator 26 FT Launch Edition

This one came in late but never the less deserves it's flowers. The brand-new generation of Predator, and adidas just never seem to miss. We all loved the Predator 25, but adi have gone bold and made some clear changes with this next-gen, and we like it. A lot. Bringing back the iconic 'Gunmetal' colourway as well, they know exactly what the people want. Innovation meets nostalgia in the perfect balance.

2 - adidas Predator FT x The Football Gal

It was hard not to put this in the top spot. A personal favourite of mine and how could it not be. Pure beauty. How often do you see hand-stitched embroidery on a football boot? Never. Exactly. You know a boot is stunning when you almost don't want to play in them as to not ruin. We just can't get enough of it.

1 - Nike Hypervenom OG RGN

Coming in hot at number 1 is the one we were all waiting for. The Hypervenom's return was welcomed back with open arms. One of the most iconic boots of all time, it defined a generation. You can't not think about Neymar ballin' out at Barcelona when you see these. Nike really hit the nail on the head back in 2013 and bringing it back was exactly the right move. Now all we ask for is some more colourways...
