adidas Resurrect The Predator Precision In 'Origins Pack' Drop

adidas Football keep their Made in Germany series rolling with the next nostalgic instalment – the Predator Precision ‘Origins Pack’. Few boots carry as much heritage weight as the Precision, and adidas have gone all in, bringing the iconic 2000 classic back to life in its original black, white and red dress code.

Back in its day the Precision was laced up by some of the greatest to ever do it – David Beckham, Steven Gerrard, Zinedine Zidane. Now, it returns in 2025 with a faithful upper recreation, sat proudly on the Predator 25 soleplate for a modern performance twist. That means the same unmistakable visuals, but with the kind of underfoot feel that’s primed for today’s game.

Visually, it’s an homage piece of the highest order: a dominant black upper cut with bold red accents on the heel counter and that fold-over tongue that defined an era. The white Three Stripes fade subtly as they sweep toward the heel – a detail that still hits like it did a quarter of a century ago. Completing the picture, adidas branding pops in white across the tongue, heel counter and soleplate, while a red “Made in Germany” sign-off embossed on the tongue underlines the boot’s craftsmanship credentials.

This drop follows in the footsteps of the Predator Accelerator-inspired Predator 24 and Predator 25, but while those leaned heavily into Accelerator DNA, the Precision rerelease teases the question: what would a true modernised Precision Three Stripe look like? adidas have thrown the gauntlet down, and the appetite for a contemporary take on the Precision is now firmly on the table.

The Predator Precision ‘Origins Pack’ is a reminder of why the Predator line has become football’s most storied boot family – a blend of heritage and innovation that refuses to lose its bite.
