Sam Handy Gives Early Preview Of Latest Predator Mania MIG

GM at adidas Football, Sam Handy, has revealed an early look at the fifth and final instalment in the Made in Germany series, and it’s none other than the Predator Mania in that iconic “Red/Silver” colourway.

Over the last seven or so months, adidas has been celebrating 75 years of craftmanship with its ‘Made in Germany’ series, premium edition rereleases of some of its most iconic boots, crafted in adidas’ historic Scheinfeld factory, located a short distance from the brand’s Bavarian HQ in Herzogenaurach, Germany. First there was the ‘Japan Blue’ edition, and that was quickly followed up by the ‘Pearl’ edition. Then came the only break in the Predator Mania-centric series with the COPA Pure II, before returning to the Mania with a classic “Black/White/Red” presentation. Now, the series is set to wrap up with the early reveal of the fifth and final drop, as teased by Sam Handy, GM of adidas Football, on his Insta channel.

The “Red/Silver” colourway of the Mania was most famously worn by one of the princes of the Predator, David Beckham. It was last rereleased back in late 2019 as a landmark drop for the 25th anniversary of the Predator. Now, flash forward six years, and it’s back just after the 30th anniversary of the Predator, and as part of the brand’s 75th anniversary.

It’s yet another premium presentation, recreating the original upper, with the only difference being the inclusion of the ‘Made in Germany’ callout on the tongue. As with the previous Made in Germany Predator Mania releases, it’s set to ride on on the Predator 24 soleplate, gearing it up for a modern day performance, should you be able to actually wear it on pitch and not have it on your mantlepiece.

Keep it locked for official news of the official launch date for the adidas Predator Mania MIG "Red/Silver".
