PUMA Drop The Early 2025 Whiteout Pack

Arriving as one half of the traditional mid-season/new year colour wipe, PUMA reveal the early 2025 Whiteout pack, which sees the new Future 8 in white for the first time, alongside the Ultra 5 and King.

It’s that time of year when everything is pristine and white – no, we’re not talking about winter…it’s whiteout season in the world of football boots, and first out of the blocks for 2025 is PUMA. The Whiteout pack delivers a minimalist aesthetic that contrasts sharply with the dark tones of the ‘Eclipse Pack’, while it also offers a clean alternative to the primary in-line pack—typically the bold colourways worn by professional players (currently the PUMA Unlimited Pack).

The headliner of this iteration of the PUMA Whiteout pack in the new Future 8, appearing for the first time in this guise. Tech-wise, it introduces the FLEXIGILITY outsole, engineered for instinctive movements. Its de-coupled plate features two pods: one at the heel for support and another at the forefoot for enhanced stability and responsiveness. Strategically placed studs improve rotational flow, enabling unrestricted 360-degree movement. Additionally, reduced material in key flex zones delivers a flexible soleplate that encourages natural motion.

Continuing the legacy of previous FUTURE models, this boot incorporates FUZIONFIT technology. A highly elastic Lycra upper paired with a stretchy knit offers an adaptive, second-skin fit, allowing players to wear the boots with or without laces without compromising performance. The mid-foot is reinforced with triangular PWRTAPE for optimal lockdown and stability, while 3D FUZIONPODS provide support and flexibility. A GripControl Pro skin and high-density mesh overlay enhance ball control and grip.

Joining the Future 8 in white is the Ultra 5 and the King. Both have appeared in white before, but it's always nice to have that option available again.

With the Ultra 5, it still boasts the FastTrax stud design for multidirectional traction and an all-new PWRTAPE SQD support frame to stabilise the foot inside of the boot without hindering agility and freedom of movement. And it’s all wrapped up in a pristine white-on-white look, with the subtlest pops of silver/grey highlighting the branding.

Finally, the latest iteration of the King those new embossed grooves in the forefoot area to improve feel and control on the ball really stand out in both the white and blackout looks. Those grooves are joined by joined by a new softer mesh material through the heel and in the tongue area to improve the already outstanding levels of comfort on offer. But it’s still that K-Better upper material that’s the star of the show here, make no mistake.
