The Messi signature drops keep on coming, with adidas supplying the Argentinian with the X Crazyfast ‘Bienvenido A Miami’, which draws inspiration from his new club in MLS, and the city he now calls home.
Following his hype move to the States, Adidas have been quick to roll out plenty of signature style for Lionel Messi, with the Argentina-inspired ‘Infinito Messi’ dropping in August, followed by the ‘Las Estrellas’ in September, which featured a special design that celebrated his 2022 World Cup triumph with Argentina. Now there’s the ‘Bienvenido A Miami’ X Crazyfast, which turns the attention on to Messi’s new home city.
The boot comes in a “Turquoise/Pink” colourway that’s directly inspired by the Miami Vice aesthetic that’s so synonymous with the city. That execution sees the turquoise colour as the base, with the vibrant neon pink accents popping through the branding and forefoot of the soleplate, as well as the “Messi” wording on the lateral side of the heel, written in a special Vice City font that’s fitting for the all-round presentation.
Unfortunately their debut in the match against Cincinnati didn’t help end the slump that has seen Inter Miami winless in their last four games, a run that has coincided with Messi being absent through injury, extending that run to five with a 0-1 loss. Messi returned to action, coming off the bench in the 56th minute wearing the ‘Bienvenido A Miami’ X Crazyfast.
