New Balance Launch The 'Energy Streak' Pack

Using the current hiatus from grassroots football along with the International break as the perfect pitstop for an on pitch pickup, New Balance launch the limited edition ‘Energy Streak’ pack, wrapping the Furon v6 and Tekela v3 in clean off-white coats with flashes of colour popping through.

New Balance have been pairing the Furon v6 and Tekela v3 up some striking limited edition combos recently, from ‘Rise & Reign’ to the electric ‘Night Heat’ pack. And now they’re back in that limited edition groove, bringing their A game for the ‘Energy Streak’ pack.

Created around the theme of owning grey, the New Balance ‘Energy Streak’ pack is explored through premium finishes such as chrome and iridescent logo applications, executed in premium fashion across both the Tekela v3 and Furon v6. It sees a Light Aluminium shade and complemented with subtle detailing in “Neo Flame” and “Mystic Purple” tones.

For the Furon, those flashes of colour are apparent through the rear of the soleplate, with a keen graphic travelling from there up the heel. On the underside, that colour arrows into the silvery shimmer of the forefoot, and that ties in with the iridescent ‘NB’ logo that flashes through the forefoot. The ‘Energy Streak’ pack Furon has already been spotted on the feet of New Balance new boy Bukayo Saka as well as Tim Weah ahead of their official launch.

For the Tekela, which boasts a design that just keeps growing on us with every release, the “Neo Flame” and “Mystic Purple” accents pop on top of the textured full foot stretch-knit upper with integrated Hypoknit. The colourings also feature in the stud tips and through the intricately designed soleplate, while the ’N’ logo dominates the lateral side of the boot, once again shimmering in iridescence.

Manchester City's USWNT international, Rose Lavelle, is the only top-tier player to rep the Tekela on a regular basis, but she is often graced with her own signature editions. But if the releases keep looking this good and New Balance’s recruitment drive continues to gather pace, you imagine it can only be a matter of time before more players realise its untapped potential.
