Umbro Drop The Velocita 4 in "Black/Blue"

Umbro have dropped a secondary update on their newest generation Velocita 4 silo as the Double Diamond deliver a low-key design. Landing in a steady combination of black and blue, it's a more traditional option in comparison to the launch colourway.

The fourth generation Velocita is currently being worn on pitch by contracted Umbro players including West Ham's Michail Antonio in the "White/Black/Acid Lime" colourway, but the latest update delivers a more traditional take on design with its black upper, white branding and blue trim.

The Velocita 4 has been created following extensive wear testing from players at all levels, with the aim of working with the natural movement of the foot. The most significant change on the Velocita 4 Pro is the brand new Sprint+ outsole. Made from a lightweight Pebax material, it features a combination of conical and elongated studs to provide maximum grip and traction.

On the upper of the boot, a tri-layer construction provides lockdown and flexibility. A bottom layer of neoprene gives a seamless feel against the foot; a ‘memory-flex’ middle layer offers stretch and flexibility; and then the protective top layer gives a snug fit. The sock construction on the boot has also been redeveloped, with a new shape allowing for a better fit around the ankle and increased comfort.
