Laced Up: Nike HyperVenom Gold

Brazil face Chile on Saturday in the first of the World Cup knockout stages and all eyes will be on golden boy Neymar who'll be wearing an exclusive gold Nike HyperVenom. Ahead of the game we've laced up in the limited edition boots for an early on-pitch look.

With Cristiano's case packed, Iniesta with his feet up on a Spanish beach and Rooney working on his tan back in sunny Manchester all Nike's golden eggs lay in one bigged-up Brazilian basket.

Neymar was tipped to be the star of the 2014 World Cup and so far he's lived up to the hype by scoring 4 goals in 3 games to take Brazil to the top of Group A. Now it's time for Neymar to reach new heights, to cement himself in Brazilian folklore and he'll be aiming to lift football's biggest prize in his own back yard wearing a gold HyperVenom throughout the group stages, a boot that only he will be wearing.

There's no doubt the Gold HyperVenom will stand out on pitch when Neymar steps into the Estadio Mineirao on Saturday, especially matched up with the famous yellow strip of Brazil. The idea came from Neymar telling Nike that he used to spray his boots gold as a kid but all we know is you've got to be one hell of a player to wear them, and this kid is no ordinary talent.
