Olympique Marseille Unveil Stunning ‘Pink October’ Jersey For Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Olympique de Marseille are setting a benchmark when it comes to dedicated women’s football identity, unveiling a striking new kit for Breast Cancer Awareness Month as part of the annual ‘Octobre Rose’ campaign.

Building on the growing trend of bespoke women’s football shirts that has gained momentum throughout 2025 and that we spoke about earlier in the summer, Marseille and PUMA have revealed a limited edition design created specifically for the club’s women’s team. For the first time ever, Les Marseillaises’ bespoke crest will take pride of place on an Olympique de Marseille shirt, further cementing the identity established with the launch of the women’s team branding in September 2025.

Visually, the jersey is nothing short of stunning. A soft pastel pink base is paired with elegant white vertical stripes, while luxurious gold detailing delivers a premium finish throughout. It’s a design that balances beauty with purpose, ensuring the shirt stands out both as a fashion statement and a meaningful vehicle for awareness.

At the heart of the campaign lies a simple but powerful message: “Tu ne seras jamais seule” (“You will never be alone”). Through the initiative, Olympique de Marseille have chosen to focus on themes of remission, hope and togetherness, recognising that no battle against cancer should ever be fought in isolation.

Those values align closely with the identity of Les Marseillaises, reflecting the courage, solidarity, friendship and resilience that define the women of Marseille. Alongside long-term partner Caisse d'Epargne CEPAC, who have supported breast cancer awareness initiatives for more than two decades, the club hopes to create a campaign that extends beyond football and into the wider community.

The jersey itself represents another important chapter in the evolution of the women’s side. Following the unveiling of the Les Marseillaises identity earlier this year, this marks the first occasion that the team has worn a shirt bearing its own name and dedicated logo. Designed exclusively for the ‘Octobre Rose’ campaign and produced in very limited quantities, the release serves as both a collector’s item and a statement of intent.

Les Marseillaises will debut the special edition strip on 18 October when they face FC Fleury 91 at the Francis-Turcan Stadium, in a match dedicated to the fight against breast cancer. On the pitch, it will be a moment of visibility. Beyond it, the jersey serves as a reminder that through unity, support and community, nobody has to face the journey alone.
