and adidas have unveiled the latest edition of the adidas x MLS Archive Collection, bringing back some of the league's most memorable looks and stories. Now in its third year, the collection celebrates the pride, passion and unique identity of eight soccer cities, blending inspiration from the past with each club's modern-day culture.
This year's lineup features Austin FC, CF Montréal, Chicago Fire FC, Houston Dynamo FC, Orlando City SC, Philadelphia Union, Real Salt Lake, and Vancouver Whitecaps FC, joining the 15 clubs that have already been part of the collection since its debut in 2024. Each team will receive a new third kit, along with a matching jacket inspired by its heritage.
The 2026 collection draws on some of the league's most iconic moments, places and designs. Inspirations range from Houston's famous Astrodome and the official match ball used at the 1994 FIFA World Cup to the dramatic mountain landscapes of the Western United States. Fans will get their first look at the kits on the pitch as they're rolled out across the rest of the 2026 MLS season.
"The final Archive drop is a nod to the roots of MLS culture, giving fans kits that feel nostalgic while capturing the true spirit of the eight cities that have played an important part to cultivate the fandom around soccer culture,” said Griffin Claes, Senior Designer, Club and MLS at adidas. “We didn’t design these to just be third jerseys, they are pieces for fans to rep the authentic energy, landmarks and pride of their home cities whether they’re in the stands or out in their communities.”
Austin FC
Moving away from the club’s core colours for the first time, the Austin FC Archive kit leans into “The Violet Crown”—that iconic sunset glow that’s defined the city for over a century. The kit also features a retro typeface and violet palette, blending stadium energy and street style.
CF Montreal
The CF Montréal Archive Collection breathes new life into the original away kit. This look throws it back to 1993, when the Montréal Impact played their first pro game away from home. Featuring a vintage MLS logo and a historic “1993” sign-off, it’s a bold take on the first chapter of the club.
Chicago Fire FC
The Chicago Fire FC Archive kit remixes the iconic 2000 away jersey. The bold “CHICAGO” wordmark across the chest asserts city pride in a retro colourway while navy and red accents connect to the current Forever Red kit, uniting the past and present.
Houston Dynamo FC
Nearly sixty years of soccer history comes to life. The Houston Dynamo FC Archive Collection celebrates the 20th anniversary of the club’s first MLS Cup, featuring the iconic ceiling pattern of the Houston Astrodome – birthplace of pro soccer in Houston – and 2006-2007 championship branding.
Orlando City SC
This Orlando City SC Archive Collection revives four decades of soccer history in the City Beautiful. The kit brings together the Lions’ 1980s wordmark—a nod to Orlando’s original soccer team—with the space-age design of the 1994 World Cup’s iconic Questra match ball. Woven throughout is legendary red, the same colourway Orlando City wore when it lifted the Club’s first USL trophy in 2011.
Philadelphia Union
The Philadelphia Union Archive Collection is a throwback to the 90s, a decade that gave Philly its leading edge. This vintage cream kit features colour-blocked bands for every local team and a snake-wrapped Liberty Bell sign-off to show the Union officially completed the city.
Real Salt Lake
Real Salt Lake’s kit celebrates the “Greatest Snow on Earth,” Utah’s vintage ski culture and eclectic resort style. From iconic Olympic slopes to hidden backcountry gems, this kit captures the main character energy of the mountains.
Vancouver Whitecaps FC
Vancouver Whitecaps FC are bringing a fresh look inspired by elements from the club’s history as Vancouver 86ers – an identity inseparable from the city’s passion for soccer. The nostalgic colours bring back a bold blue and vibrant yellow, with red accents.
