Club América and adidas have officially revealed the club's new home shirt for the 2026/27 season, kicking off the countdown to Las Águilas' 110th anniversary in style.
The new Club América home jersey takes a familiar route, drawing inspiration from some of the club's most memorable shirts from the 1980s and 1990s. Rather than reinventing the wheel, adidas has opted to celebrate the club’s heritage with a design that feels classic while adding a few modern touches.
The standout feature is within the vibrant yellow base, instantly recognisable as Club América. It’s within where, across the front, a large graphic pattern inspired by the club's iconic crest sits, giving the shirt a bit more character without overwhelming the overall look.
Another nice touch comes on the shoulders, where the famous adidas three stripes feature a black, red and black pattern instead of the standard single colour finish. Around the back, the "Grandes de Corazón" ("Great at Heart") inscription on the neck rounds things off with a nod to the club's identity and connection with its supporters.
The shirt also marks the start of a significant period for Club América as preparations begin for the club's 110th anniversary celebrations. “As we approach our 110th anniversary, this jersey symbolizes what our institution represents: history, leadership, and a constant pursuit of excellence.
