PUMA & Manchester City Reveal Their 26/27 Home Shirt

We’re on the dawn of a new, potentially Pep-less era for Manchester City, and while we all wonder what that will do for the team’s on-pitch identity, we at least know how they’ll look aesthetically speaking, as PUMA reveal the club’s new home kit for 26/27.

It’s an interesting time for Manchester City. They’ve won the FA Cup, but narrowly missed out on the Premier League, and that’s bookended by the reports that Pep Guardiola is set to step down as manager after a ten-year spell in charge of the club. And then there’s the ever=present looming spectre of some charges hanging. But all that said, it’s with a future-facing step that PUMA reveal the club’s new kit for the 26/27 season.

It’s a fairly typical City affair: a sky-blue gradient design that nods to the many shades the club has worn throughout its history, reflecting both its journey and its ongoing ambitions. The look fades from sky blue at the top into white at the base, breaking from the club’s usual single-tone approach. Even the badge follows suit, reworked in a clean monochrome white. A white collar and matching sleeve cuffs complete the aesthetic, while “CITY” is stamped across the back collar and the phrase “Not Your Typical City” is printed inside.
