Vasco Da Gama & Nike Commence New Partnership With 2026 Kits

Marking the beginning of a new era for the club, Vasco Da Gama and Nike commence their new partnership with the reveal of the new home and away kits for the coming campaign.

Courage isn’t just a word for Vasco da Gama—it’s a compass. It’s the force that’s steered the club through uncharted waters, rewriting rules and refusing to accept the status quo. That same spirit now finds its way into fabric, as Nike and Vasco commence their partnership with the unveiling of the official 2026 home and away kits—a collection that celebrates history, identity, and the fearless instinct to carve new paths.

Nike are making moves in South America, and shortly after kicking off a new partnership with Atletico Mineiro, the Swoosh is now adorning the shirts of Vasco Da Gama for the first time ever.

Renato Aguiar, Marketing Director at Fisia, Nike’s official distributor in Brazil, explains: “This collection is born from the instinct that defines both Vasco and Nike. Every detail, from the reinterpreted diagonal stripe to the concept that guides the campaign, celebrates the strength of a club that has never followed pre-defined routes. Vasco will always navigate according to its beliefs. And that is what this collection represents: the path of courage.”

The home shirt stays true to Vasco’s iconic black base, but the diagonal sash—a symbol of identity—is reimagined with graphics inspired by water: waves, flow, crossings. It’s a nod to the club’s nautical origins and its spirit of navigation. Look closer and you’ll find the geographical coordinates of São Januário—22º 53′ 27.2″ S, 43º 13′ 41.9″ W—etched into the collar, anchoring the shirt to the heart of the fans.

The away jersey flips the palette, keeping the classic white canvas while carrying the same wave-inspired sash. Black sleeves and a crew neck collar frame the design, adding sharp contrast and attitude. Like its home counterpart, the coordinates of São Januário remain—a subtle reminder of where it all begins.

For Vasco president Pedrinho, this is more than a kit: “This jersey represents much more than a uniform. It translates the essence of Vasco: a club that has always had the courage to face challenges, break barriers, and write its own history. Being alongside Nike, the biggest sports brand in the world, reinforces Vasco's size and ambition to occupy a space befitting its history.”
