Werder Bremen & hummel Reveal 25/26 Home Kit Rooted In City Soul

SV Werder Bremen have dropped their 2025/26 home kit, and with it comes a jersey that doesn’t just represent the club — it moves with the city. Designed in partnership with hummel, this season’s strip is more than a kit; it’s a love letter to Bremen’s heartbeat: its tram lines.

Every weekend, as thousands of fans in Green and White pour into the Weserstadion, it's the city’s trams that carry the pulse. Hummed with chants, packed with scarves and stories, those tracks are more than metal—they’re memory lanes. And in a move that fuses football with infrastructure, Werder’s new look captures that connection with subtle pinstripes running front to back, tracing the lines that lace the city together.

The design is sleek, yet steeped in meaning. hummel’s iconic chevrons snake down the sides, while contrasting cuffs add sharp definition to an otherwise clean silhouette. It’s modern football wear with heritage baked into the fibres.

Klaus Filbry, CEO at Werder Bremen, summed it up: “Werder lives through its connection to the fans, and I think it’s brilliant how that connection is reflected in the design. We’re excited to see the jersey in action for the first time in MATTHÄI’s backyard.

For hummel, it’s a continuation of their knack for storytelling through kit design. “The tram lines that run through Bremen are a powerful symbol of unity, movement, and passion,” said Morten Lund, Marketing Director at hummel. “That’s exactly what we wanted to reflect. We’re proud to bring that story to life in a jersey that fans can wear with pride, on matchdays and beyond.”

The 25/26 Werder Bremen home shirt doesn’t shout; it speaks. Quietly confident, deeply rooted, and always moving forward — just like the club itself. Watch out for it making its debut on Saturday, 12th July, when Werder take on Oberliga side FC Verden 04 at the Stadion am Berliner Ring.
