Nike Reveal Finland Home & Away Kits For 2025

The latest kit drop arrives as Nike unveil the Finland National team home and away kit. Designed in collaboration with established Finnish artist Klaus Haapaniemi, the jersey’s draw inspiration from Finnish culture and identity, using intricate detailing to present traditional patterns and motifs.

Finland and Nike are the latest to reveal the new national home and away kit for 2025, and it does not disappoint. Although Finland may not be a top 10 country for football talent, they might just make into top 10 for best kits with this stunning drop. Nike have partnered up with esteemed Finnish artist Klaus Haapaniemi to capture an essence of the country's rich culture for their players to wear with pride during International duties. Haapaniemi ensures traditional patterns and designs sit at the heart of these jerseys, almost acting as a love letter to Finnish nature and storytelling. Both jerseys follow the orthodox colour palette of white and blue – signature to Finland kits – however use innovovation and creatovty to elevate each look into a work of art.

Dressed in a classic white body, the home jersey sees a striking blue strip fall vertically through the centre of the piece – which acts as home to some special detailing. Whilst a golden border traps the strip, the inside is filled with bespoke patterns completely designed by Klaus. Known for his artistic storytelling, Haapaniemi pays tribute to his home country's deep-rooted DNA and creative culture by re-imagining traditional designs. Moving on to the away kit, a signature blue engulfs the entirety of the jersey whilst pops of white appear from the Nike logo and Finland crest. This jersey sees the subtle patterns featured on the home kit enlarged and projected onto the front of the piece as a full graphic. Every inch of detailing done to perfection.

When talking about the new kits, Klaus Haapaniemi said "Designing a national team shirt has its own challenges, especially since I usually start with colours. Given the limited colour palette, I focused more on creating silhouettes and compositions, which led to this result."

"If I consider the graphic outcome, i think it’s somewhat lumpy, I think as a counterbalance to the dynamic, clear and streamlined patterns of sports shirts. I wanted to create something quite different; it had to be handmade with a certain ruggedness and controlled asymmetry – all the qualities that come from the human hand."

"I hope that when Finns wear this jersey, it embodies the same qualities I value in my work – spontaneity and joy, that’s where it all begins."

These kits optimise creativity and cultured design, bringing to life the beautiful qualities and personality of a country. A perfect blend of past and present. Finns will be wearing the jersey with pride on 7 June when Finland play Netherlands in their next World Cup qualifying match.
