Oakland Soul SC have unveiled their vibrant 2025 USL W League jerseys in collaboration with CHARLY, a celebration of the club’s upward journey and The Town’s creative spirit. This year’s designs are laced with themes of love, light, and happiness — a visual narrative the club plans to carry through the entire Soul season.
Oakland continues to be a place of freedom and creation, with both the Roots and Soul voicing the same mantra through their beautifully bespoke kit designs. The latest release comes from the latter, with their new 2025 "Butterfly Effect" alternate kit from CHARLY dropping in alongside its iconic 2024 black kit, now recharged with new partner energy.
“Happiness, love, and light are three things that we truly live by and what we as a club try to provide to our community,” said Oakland Soul SC Chief Marketing Officer Edreece Arghandiwal. “This year's jerseys incorporate love, light, and happiness, and we aim to tell that story through the Soul season.”
Complementing the retained primary jersey, the “Butterfly Effect” kit is the scene-stealer here, arriving in soft pastels — a dreamy canvas of native butterflies mid-flight, captured in hues of blue and pink. Symbolic of transformation and quiet resilience, it’s a tribute to the community’s beauty in motion.
Meanwhile, the “Soul Bloom” kit – the club's primary jersey – is a bold reimagining of floral tie-dye — a hypnotic blend of sunbursts and abstract blooms that pulse with funk, soul, and Oakland attitude. It’s sunshine on black, unapologetically radiant.
